We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to develop relationships with key clients and build long-term partnerships in the German market, especially within the public procurement sector.
What will you be responsible for?
- Building and nurturing business relationships with key clients, particularly in the German public sector
- Creating sales strategies and achieving business goals within the modern museum and science center industry
- Participating in public tenders, managing proposals, and negotiating terms of cooperation
- Collaborating with internal teams – from marketing to production, software development, and more
Key Skills We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of experience in key account management, particularly within public tenders
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building long-term client relationships
- Thorough knowledge of German public procurement laws and tender processes
- Fluency in both German and English, both spoken and written
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze market data and trends
- Proactive, self-reliant, and able to work under time pressure
Additional Expectations:
- Higher education (management, economics, international trade, or a related field)
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally
